Volunteers and concerned citizens involved in relief,
documentation and rehabilitation efforts
submit a comprehensive memorandum of demands to the Delhi Government,
highlighting the measures that the state must undertake in the aftermath of
targeted violence. The memorandum details specific demands in areas of relief,
compensation, legal assistance, medical and psycho-social trauma, impact of
COVID-19, skilling, education, reconciliation and rehabilitation. They also
call for investigation into the role of the Delhi police in the violence.
It has been endorsed by eminent citizens including activists,
academics, writers, jurists.
